New material for the second season of "Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS" released

For the second season of the anime series "Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia ILLEGALS" (English: "Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS"), a new key visual and a trailer have been released. The series is a spin-off of the main work "My Hero Academia" by Kōhei Horikoshi.

The released Key Visual centers on the main character Koichi Haimawari, who is depicted in a dynamic, upside-down pose. Surrounding him are numerous characters, including other unlicensed "Vigilante" heroes, professional heroes like Fat Gum, Best Jeanist, and Edgeshot, as well as the antagonistic "Scarred Man". All Might and the teacher Shōta Aizawa are also depicted.

The main trailer, also presented, offers insights into action scenes of the new season. It shows Koichi's improved abilities, the fight of Fat Gum and the new character Monica Kaniyashiki, as well as sequences with the Scarred Man. Furthermore, there are first glimpses into the school days of the characters Aizawa, Yamada, and their classmate Oboro Shirakumo.

Joining the series' voice cast is Kana Ueda. She takes on the role of Monica Kaniyashiki, who is seen in the trailer together with the hero Fat Gum.

The second season of "Vigilante: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS" begins in January 2026.
