New Opening and Insights: Second Season of "Hell's Paradise" Reveals Details

A new promotional video for the second season of the anime series "Hell's Paradise" (Japanese original title: Jigokuraku) has been released. The focus of the announcement is the reveal of the opening song for the upcoming episodes.

The musical accompaniment for the second season is being created through a special collaboration. The opening title "Kasuka na Hana" (German approximately: "Schemenhafte Blume") is performed by Kitani Tatsuya feat. BABYMETAL. It is a song composed specifically for the series, with Kitani Tatsuya responsible for the lyrics and music. The artist described the song as an expression of the longing for a "schemenhafte Blume" that combines both strength and vulnerability. SU-METAL of BABYMETAL stated that the collaboration brought out a new facet of the group.

The continuation is once again being produced by the animation studio MAPPA. The core team including director Makita Kaori and series concept writer Kindaichi Akira also remains.

The plot continues the journey of the death-sentenced ninja Gabimaru and the executioner Sagiri on the mysterious island "Shinsenkyo". Their goal remains finding the elixir of immortality. In the second season, the search enters a decisive phase, culminating in a comprehensive conflict between the humans and the powerful, immortal beings of the island, the "Tensen".
