Ahead of the premiere of the TV anime series "Yomi no Tsugai," the first preview scenes from the opening episode and six new character visuals have been released. The production, based on the manga of the same name by Hiromu Arakawa, will air from April 4th across two consecutive cours on channels including TOKYO MX and BS11.

The new scenes feature the protagonist Yuru and his twin sister Asa, who has a piercing gaze. Also shown are the merchant Dela, who maintains a calm demeanor, and the cheerfully smiling Gabu-chan. Another shot shows a jewel-like motif with blood dripping onto it, hinting at a profound scene.

The character visuals include depictions of Yuru and his "Tsugai" Sayo, his twin sister Asa, Dela, Hana with her Tsugai Tora and Rō, Gabu-chan with Gabriel, and Jin with his Tsugai Ai and Makoto.

This information was announced during a stage event for "Yomi no Tsugai" at "AnimeJapan 2026" on March 29th. On stage were Kensho Ono (Yuru), Yume Miyamoto (Asa), Yūichi Nakamura (Dela), and Misaki Kuno (Gabu-chan).
