A new promo video for the TV anime "Rurouni Kenshin - Kyoto Arc," based on the original work by Nobuhiro Watsuki, has been released. Alongside the PV, a character visual of Misao Makimachi and a comment from her voice actress, Aki Yamane, were also unveiled.

Misao Makimachi is a cheerful and fearless girl who is searching for Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu. She meets Kenshin on his way to Kyoto and decides to accompany him. The character visual highlights her joyful and brave personality.

The video and Misao's character visual were presented today, July 7, at the "Rurouni Kenshin Festival: Kyoto Arc Opening Battle" event at Tachikawa Stage Garden.

"Rurouni Kenshin - Kyoto Arc" will air starting in October on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block and other channels, spanning two consecutive cours. The second season continues the story that began in July 2023, shifting the setting from Tokyo to Kyoto. Kenshin Himura faces new challenges and must confront the formidable Shishio Makoto, leaving behind the peaceful days of the Kamiya Dojo.
