New promotional material for anime "The Case Book of Arne" released

New promotional material has been released for the television series "The Case Book of Arne" (Japanese original title: Arune no Jikenbo). The anime series, which is based on a mystery video game, began its broadcast in January 2026.

The newly released main promotional visual focuses on the two protagonists of the story: Arne Neuntöte, a vampire detective, and Lynn Reinweiß, the daughter of a noble family. In the series, they form an unusual investigative duo. The visual stages these characters and emphasizes the dark-mysterious atmosphere of the plot.

In addition to the visual, a new promotional video has been released. This provides insights into the plot and the visual design of the production. The animation studio Silver Link is responsible for the series. The direction was undertaken by Keisuke Inoue.

The plot of the series is set in the city of Rügenberg, a place where supernatural beings and humans live together. Arne Neuntöte, a vampire with special powers, runs a detective agency there that specializes in inexplicable cases. By chance, Lynn Reinweiß, a young noblewoman with a great fascination for vampires, enters his life as his assistant. Together, they investigate mysterious incidents that are often connected to the hidden history of the city.

The underlying video game, originally developed with RPG Maker, recently celebrated its eighth anniversary. In addition to the anime adaptation, there is also a manga series that was published between 2018 and 2022.
