A second promotional video has been released for the TV anime "Marriage Toxin", which is based on the manga of the same name by Jōmyaku and Mizuki Yoda. The new PV offers a first preview of the ending theme music. This is contributed by singer-songwriter AKASAKI, with the title "Shake Na Baby". In the first part of the video, the opening melody "Kill or Kiss" performed by Yurina Hirate can already be heard, accompanied by fast-paced battle scenes and the diverse characters at the center of protagonist Gero's "konkatsu" mission. The second part begins with AKASAKI's catchy piece and shows, among other things, a humorous scene in which Gero reveals his motives to the marriage swindler Kinosaki.
The anime premieres on April 7th in the new programming block "Ka-Anival!!" on the channels Kansai TV and Fuji TV. Already on April 5th at 24:55, a special program titled "Marriage Toxin: A Look Behind the Scenes of Anime Production" will air, promising an interview with director Motonobu Hori and insights from the animation studio Bones Film. Also starting April 5th, the mini-program "Maritoki Navi" will be broadcast, guiding viewers through the episodes with voice actors Haruki Ishiya (Hikaru Gero), Shion Wakayama (Mei Kinosaki), and comedian Yūsuke Inoue (NON STYLE).
AKASAKI, who is contributing a title song for a TV anime for the first time with "Shake Na Baby", commented: "I gave the song the strength to walk a path that suits oneself—even in a love full of mistakes."
