For the upcoming season of the anime adaptation of "Ascendance of a Bookworm" (Japanese "Honzuki no Gekokujō"), a new key visual and an announcement video have been released. The image shows the protagonist Rozemyne together with the character Ferdinand in a forest environment during the so-called "Night of Schutzaria".

The story follows Rozemyne, who is reborn into a world where books are considered precious goods. Her endeavor to create books and her life in noble society after her adoption by a prince form the core plot.

The announcement video produced by WIT STUDIO presents the world of Ehrenfest and contains animation sequences that focus on Rozemyne's devotion to books and her family. The opening theme for the new episodes is titled "Pages" and is performed by the group Little Glee Monster.

For those interested, a special preview event with the participation of voice actors from the series is planned for March 8th in Tokyo.
