In a recent update for the TV anime "Medalist," images of the characters Kousaki Hikari and Yotaka Jun, rivals of the protagonist Inori, were revealed. This unveiling took place at the AnimeJapan 2024 event on March 24. The newly released images feature Hikari, voiced by Kana Ichinose, and Jun, portrayed by Yuma Uchida, highlighting their roles as Inori's adversaries and Jun's position as Hikari's coach.

"Medalist" is a story that intertwines the lives of a young man, Akinuji Ryoji, who has dedicated his life to figure skating, and a girl, Yui Inori, whose talent in the sport is recognized by him. Natsumi Haruse voices Inori, while Tsuyoshi Otsuka provides the voice for Ryoji. The anime is scheduled to air in January 2025.
