New Scene Images and Voice Recording Sessions from the "Poupelle of Chimney Town" Sequel

New scene photos have been released for the film "Poupelle of Chimney Town – The Promised Clock Tower." They show the animal inhabitants of the "Fortress of a Thousand Years": Among them are Ōmimi (voiced by Kōji Higashino) with his big ears, the harbor guard (Takashi Watanabe of Nishikigoi), the giant slug who works as a slow and hard-to-understand package delivery person, the alarm clock seller Don (both voiced by Masanori Hasegawa of Nishikigoi), and the mouse Himosakku (voiced by Kajisakku).

Another video provides insights into the voice recording sessions. In addition to main actress Yuzuna Nagase (Rubitch) and Masataka Kubota (Poupelle), MEGUMI (Mofu), Mitsuo Yoshihara (Gas), Fūka Koshiba (Nagi), Anna Tsuchiya (Hora), and Shingo Fujimori (Shovel) can be seen at work in the recording studio.

The sequel, which opens in Japanese theaters on March 27, 2026, tells the story of how Rubitch, after losing his friend Poupelle in the first film, meets him again. In the process, he ends up in the "Fortress of a Thousand Years," which controls time, and must embark on an adventure to return to his own world.
