The second season of the TV animation series Ranma ½ based on the original by Rumiko Takahashi starts on October 4, 2025. The episodes will be available exclusively on Netflix shortly after broadcast on Japanese television.

For the musical accompaniment of the new episodes, renowned artists could be won. The music unit Wednesday Campanella contributes the opening theme song Wuó Ài Nī. The artist Nishina performs the ending theme song Panda Girl.

In the second season, several new characters will be introduced, who are portrayed by experienced voice actors. Kōji Ishii takes on the role of Happōsai. Ayako Mayama voices the role of Cologne. Akira Ishida lends his voice to the character Ginta.

The voice actors commented on their new roles. Ishida noted that the expressive characters of the series would also unfold in the new production with their bizarre and exaggerated situations.

The plot of Ranma ½ revolves around the young martial artist Ranma Saotome, who gains a special property after an accident during a training stay in China: Contact with cold water causes him to switch to a girl form, warm water transforms him back into a boy.
