From the Toykopop newsletter:
--------
In August, we will expand our SHONEN JUMP segment with a very special gem. That’s when the German edition of Claymore, penned by Norihiro Yagi, will launch. The series, currently running in the new Shueisha magazine SQUARE JUMP, is a real treat for all fans of dark fantasy:
In a world terrorized by bloodthirsty monsters called "Yoma," only the Claymores can restore justice and order. As hybrids between humans and Yoma, these silver-haired warriors are blessed with superhuman abilities. But the more the Claymores rely on their supernatural powers, the greater the danger of losing their human side forever.
Claymore was also adapted into a 26-part anime series in Japan (more info at http://www.ntv.co.jp/claymore/).
Earlier this week, it was announced that Funimation will dub the anime series for the North American market.
