New short film production for the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" anniversary

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans" (English: "Iron-Blooded Orphans"), the short film "Makuai no Kusabi" (English: "Interlude's Wedge") will be released on October 31, 2025. It will be shown in theaters alongside the revised version "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt - Chiisana Chōsensha no Kiseki -" (English: "Trail of a Young Challenger").

The short film "Interlude's Wedge" takes place after the events of the original series and focuses on the development of the Turbine-Iron-Flowers group. After successfully completing their protection mission for Kudelia and the battles surrounding the Abrau elections, the group returns to Mars. There, Orga Itsuka, as the leader, faces new organizational challenges, prompting Mikazuki Augus and other members to develop innovative solutions.

The concurrently shown version "Urdr-Hunt" adapts the game's story for the cinema and follows the protagonist Wistario Afam from Venus. Together with his navigator Corneal Cossa and the mysterious teenager Kachua Innoseit, he engages in conflicts in a world marked by power struggles.
