Additional contributors for the planned new adaptation of the animation series "Cat's Eye" have been announced. Katsuyuki Konishi and Yōko Hikasa will voice characters in the production based on the work of Tsukasa Hōjō.

Katsuyuki Konishi takes on the role of freelance journalist Makoto Kamiya, a character appearing for the first time in this animation version. Yōko Hikasa will portray the intelligent and factual police officer Mitsuko Asatani, who chases after the art thieves.

The plot of the series revolves around three sisters who run a café during the day and act as mysterious thieves at night. The production is designed as a romantic comedy.

The main characters are voiced by Mikako Komatsu, Ami Koshimizu, and Yumiri Hanamori. Takuya Satō lends his voice to his character Toshio Utsumi, a police officer who gets into a romantic entanglement with one of the sisters.

The broadcast of the series is scheduled for September.
