On the official homepage of the "Kiddy Grade" anime, a new spin-off titled "Kiddy Girl-and" was announced. The studio gimik, one of the four production studios of "Kiddy Grade," will produce "Kiddy Girl-and." Hidefumi Kimura is responsible for the script. Director Keiji Gotoh and character designer Megumi Kadonosono will continue their work with the spin-off.
The story takes place in the Star Age 0379, approximately 200 years after the original "Kiddy Grade" series. The main characters are named Asukūru and Ku Fīyu. The two girls are in training to become ES members of the galactic government "GTO."
Under the title "Kiddy Girl-and Pure," the manga version of the new anime will appear in the May issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comp Ace magazine, which will be available in stores on March 26.
Tokyopop released "Kiddy Grade" on DVD between 2005 and 2007.
