The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Masahito Soda and Kuro Tomiyama's "Megumi no Daigo: Kyūkoku no Orange" manga, known as "Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange," recently unveiled its second teaser video. The video offers glimpses into the firefighting scenes and the characters of M Company during their physical training, with Kenjiro Tsuda serving as the narrator.

The teaser video for "Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange" introduces the main characters, portrayed by their voice actors—Taku Yashiro as Shun Onoda, Junya Enoki as Daigo Toake, and Ayane Sakura as Yuki Nakamura.

The anime adaptation is set to premiere this coming fall and will be streamed by Crunchyroll simultaneously with its broadcast in Japan.

The series description outlines the story of three young firefighters—Toake Daigo, Onoda Shun, and Nakamura Yuki—on their journey of personal growth and shared efforts. Each character has their own motivations and challenges—Toake's extraordinary talent and determination, Onoda's struggle against the obstacles in his path, and Nakamura's ambition to join the special rescue team called "Orange" as one of its few female members. The narrative follows their journey, intertwined with an impending crisis that threatens the entire country.

"Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange" is directed by Masahiko Murata of Brains Base. The character designs are by Hitomi Tsuruta and Koji Yabuno, while Shinzō Fujita is responsible for the series' composition.

The original manga by Soda and Tomiyama was first serialized in October 2020 in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine.
