BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War has received a new key visual ahead of its premiere in October (see image). Studio Pierrot is in charge of the production, with Tomohisa Taguchi as director. Masashi Kudo returns as character designer, and Shiro Sagisu is once again composing the music. Additionally, Tite Kubo, the author of the original work, is closely involved in all aspects of this adaptation.

Bleach was first published in August 2001 in Weekly Shônen Jump magazine and concluded in August 2016 with a total of 74 volumes. The manga's success led to its own anime adaptation, produced by Studio Pierrot. The broadcast began in 2004 and ended in 2012 with a total of 366 episodes.
