New trailer and opening song for "Tai Ari Deshita." revealed

A second teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming anime "Tai Ari Deshita. ~Ojōsama wa Kakutō Game Nante Shinai~" (roughly: "It Was a Duel. ~Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games~"). At the same time, it was announced that the girls' rock band Hanabie. (花冷え。) will contribute the opening song.

The song is titled "Inochi Mijikashi Taisuru Otome yo" and can be heard for the first time in the new trailer. The anime will premiere on July 7 on Japanese TV channels such as AT-X, TOKYO MX, MBS, BS Nittele, and NBC Nagasaki Broadcasting.

Additionally, the well-known e-sports commentator "R" (Aru) has been cast as a voice actress. She will take on the role of Flameberge, a famous commentator for official fighting game tournaments. R, who was already involved in the live-action adaptation of the work, expressed her delight at this first challenge as a voice actress and wants to bring her experience from recording the automatic commentary system of "Street Fighter 6" into the role.

The band Hanabie., which itself originates from a girls' school, expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration in a comment. They found many similarities with the series' setting and created a powerful song full of youthful energy.

The anime is based on the manga by Egashima Eri. Other main roles will be voiced by Hasegawa Ikumi, Ichinose Kana, Senbongi Sayaka, and Shimoji Shino, among others.

From May 1 to 3, the production will also be present with a special photo spot at the major fighting game event "EVO Japan 2026" in Tokyo.
