New trailer and title song for anime "Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni naru"

A new trailer for the anime series "Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru" has been released, featuring for the first time the opening theme song "HEROES" by Takanori Nishikawa. In an accompanying comment, the singer mentioned that his collaboration with composer Sojiro Oki was inspired by the desire to create a connection between the series' characters and his own musical activities.

The plot of the anime adaptation follows Beryl Gardenant, an aging swordsman who originally intended to retire in his rural village. Contrary to his plans, he becomes entangled in events that force him to wield his extraordinary skills once again and return to the spotlight as a legendary swordsman.

In parallel, it has been confirmed that a stage show will be held as part of the AnimeJapan 2025 event. The main cast members Hiroaki Hirata (Beryl Gardenant), Nao Toyama (Alyucia Citrus), Hitomi Ueda (Srena Lisandera), and Yuki Hirose (Kurni Krusciel) will appear, among others.

A new trailer for the series, accompanied by extensive visuals, showcases excerpts from the anime as well as several characters in action.
