The team behind the Detective Conan movie series has released a new trailer for the upcoming 26th film, Black Iron Submarine. The film, based on the work of Gosho Aoyama, will be released in Japanese theaters on April 14. The one-minute trailer features expanded footage of the Men in Black organization's attack on the Pacific Buoy, Conan's struggle to save Haibara's life, and the involvement of other characters, including Professor Agasa and Ran, in the plot. The trailer also introduces a new member of the organization known as Pinga, a reference to a Brazilian liquor also known as Cachaça or Caninha.

The plot of the film revolves around the Pacific Buoy, an underwater facility where a new global security system has been established, utilizing a revolutionary facial recognition system linked to surveillance cameras from various organizations. Conan and the Junior Detectives are invited to the facility by Sonoko, but the situation becomes complicated when Gin is suspected of murdering a Europol agent in Germany, and the Men in Black organization appears at the buoy to kidnap an engineer and steal a crucial USB drive.

Yuzuru Tachikawa, who directed the then-highest-grossing film in the series, The Zero Case, will return to direct Black Iron Submarine. Yugo Kanno will also return to compose the soundtrack.
