Horror fans, take note—the new trailer for Junji Ito's anime "Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre" is here. The two-minute video gives us a preview of the series' ending song "Iu Toori," sung by JYOCHO. The series, which is an adaptation of Junji Ito's works, will premiere worldwide on Netflix on January 19.

The series features 20 different stories, including "The Strange Hikizuri Siblings," "The Story of the Mysterious Tunnel," "The Ice Cream Bus," "The Hanging Balloon," and "Four x Four Walls."

Director Shinobu Tagashira, who worked on the "Junji Ito Collection" adaptation, returns to helm the series, with Kaoru Sawada as scriptwriter, Yuki Hayashi as music composer, and Hozumi Goda as sound director. This isn't the first time Junji Ito's stories have been adapted into anime. In 2018, the "Junji Ito Collection" was released, co-produced by Crunchyroll and Studio DEEN, and is available to watch with subtitles on Crunchyroll.
