New trailer for "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement"

The anime "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" has released a new trailer featuring the opening theme song "Hikatta Coin ga Shimesu Hou" by Kaori Maeda. The premiere is set for January 7, 2023. The main cast includes Rika Nagae as Mitsuha Yamano, Rika Tachibana as Colette, Kaori Maeda as Sabin, and Jun Fukuyama as Tsuyoshi Yamano.



The anime is based on the novel "Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" by FUNA, which was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website and later picked up by Kodansha for print publication under the Ranobe Books label. There is also a manga adaptation by Keisuke Motoe, which has been serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius since 2017.

"Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement" follows the story of Mitsuha, who one day falls off a cliff and is transported to a medieval world reminiscent of Europe. After nearly being killed by a pack of wolves, she discovers she can travel back and forth between two worlds—her own and this one. Mitsuha uses her ability to live in both worlds and calculates that she needs 80,000 gold coins to retire. Now, she must find various ways to gather her gold coins. The English release date is currently unknown.
