The official third main trailer for the second half of the TV anime series "Honzuki no Gekokujou: Ryoushu no Youjo" (Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke) has been released. First shown on June 27, 2026, the clip not only offers a preview of the upcoming events but also provides the first listen of the new ending theme.

The ending for the second cour will be performed by singer and actress Moka Kamishiraishi under her stage name adieu, with the title "Wanna me." The song was written and composed by renowned singer-songwriter Satoko Shibata. adieu herself commented on the piece: "I expressed the beauty of 'faith' as depicted in 'Honzuki no Gekokujou' in my own way. The work taught me that trusting in what you love ultimately means trusting in yourself."

In addition to the ending theme, the opening "Power of Love" by Kana Nishino can also be heard in the trailer, which was previously introduced in its own special video. The third main trailer combines the series' central motifs—family love, bookmaking, and fantasy—with new scenes from the second cour. It impressively showcases both the protagonist Rozemyne's efforts to establish the printing industry and the magical battles triggered by her immense magical power.

The digital version of the ending theme "Wanna me (TV edit)" will be released on July 11, 2026, the start day of the second cour. The physical single follows on July 29, 2026. The limited first edition includes, alongside the CD, a Blu-ray with recordings from "adieu LIVE 2025 a la plume" from September 2025. Pre-orders for the digital version are already available.

The second half of the series will air on Japanese television starting July 11, 2026: on the nationwide network Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV on Saturdays at 5:30 PM, on TOKYO MX on Mondays at 9:25 PM, and on AT-X on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM. The first cour of the fourth season began on April 4, 2026.

"Honzuki no Gekokujou: Ryoushu no Youjo" adapts the third story arc of the light novel series of the same name by Miya Kazuki. After the death of book-loving student Urano, she is reborn as the frail girl Main in a world where books are reserved for the nobility. To satisfy her thirst for knowledge, she begins making her own books. In the current season, she is introduced to noble society as the adopted daughter of the archduke of Ehrenfest, where her secret magical power triggers numerous intrigues.

The animation production is handled by WIT Studio under the direction of Yoshiaki Iwasaki. The series concept is by Mariko Kunisawa, with character design by Aiko Minowa. The main roles are voiced by, among others, Yuka Iguchi as Rozemyne, Sho Hayami as Ferdinand, and Kazuhiko Inoue as Sylvester.
