Shinei Animation has recently released a new trailer for the anime adaptation of Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's autobiographical memoir "Totto-Chan: The Little Girl at the Window" (Madoigwa no Totto-chan). The trailer, posted on the official Twitter account, showcases the touching friendship between Totto-Chan and a boy, accompanied by an extended version of the film's theme song "Ano ne" (You Know What?) by Aimyon.

The story is set against the backdrop of Japan's entry into the war. It recounts Kuroyanagi's experiences at Tomoe Gakuen, a unique school she attends after being turned away from her original elementary school. There, she encounters extraordinary classmates and learns valuable lessons that have made her memoir a beloved work.

Shinnosuke Yakuwa, known for his work on several Doraemon films, directs at Shinei Animation. Alongside Yōsuke Suzuki, he also works on the screenplay. The character designs are by Shizue Kaneko.
