New trailer for "T・Pぼん" reveals the voices of Akio Wakayama, Atsumi Tanezaki and Mamoru Miyano

A new trailer has been released for the anime "T・P Bon (Time Patrol Bon)," featuring the voices of Akio Wakayama, Atsumi Tanezaki, and Mamoru Miyano for the first time. The series, based on the work of Fujiko F. Fujio, will debut on Netflix and offers a glimpse into the complex world of time travel and moral dilemmas.

In the trailer, Akio Wakayama plays Namihei Bon, an ordinary middle school student, while Atsumi Tanezaki portrays Reem, a member of the Time Patrol. Mamoru Miyano brings the mysterious being Buyoyon to life. The trailer highlights a tragic scene where Bon witnesses the death of a friend and is then approached by Reem, who suggests "rewinding time."

As trainees in the enigmatic future organization "Time Patrol," Bon and Reem grapple with their limited abilities to alter events and their emotional struggles. They share sentiments such as, "What we can do isn’t much," "There’s no need to distinguish who someone is," "I want to escape," "Everyone has a family," and "Do you think I’m okay with this?"

Originally serialized starting in 1978, "T・P Bon" has been adapted into a series for Netflix. Season 1 is set to premiere on May 2, followed by Season 2 on July 17, with both seasons being exclusive to the streaming platform. The series promises a blend of sci-fi adventure and ethical complexity, exploring the impact of time travel on people's lives and relationships.
