New trailer "She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man" reveals further actors and employees as well as the artists of the title song

On the official website of the anime "Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja" (She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man), five additional cast members, staff, theme song performers, a third promotional video, and a key visual were revealed today. The series will premiere in January 2022, with Studio A-CAT handling the animation.



Keitaro Motonaga is directing, while Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of the series scripts. Kumi Horii is designing the characters, Go Sakabe is composing the music, and Yasunori Ebina is serving as sound director.

J-Pop singer Asaka will perform the opening theme "Ready Set Go!!!," which can be heard in the promotional video. The idol group Erabareshi will perform the ending theme "Ambitious."

In addition to the three previously announced voice actors—Nichika Omori as the protagonist Mira, Ayumu Murase as Solomon, and Minami Hinata as Luminaria—five more cast members have been revealed:

- Yae Sakura as Frikka, a mage

- Hiroki Yasumoto as Asbal, a fighter of the guild Ekalrath Carillon

- Junichi Saitou as Zef, a scout of the Ekalrath Carillon guild

- Kanomi Izawa as Tact

Hirotsugu Ryuusen began writing the fantasy adventure novel on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou in April 2012. Micro Magazine published the series with illustrations by Choko Fuji in June 2014.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the series in English and describes the story as follows:

Sakamori Kagami was one of the top players in the VRMMO Ark Earth Online as Danblf, a veteran summoner with the gravitas befitting his elite status. One day, after falling asleep while playing, he is transported to a world where the game is reality—but instead of his all-powerful avatar, he’s stuck in the body of a cute young girl!
