New TV anime series “Kinoko Inu”: Announcement of cast, crew and first teasers

The upcoming TV anime series "Kinoko Inu," based on the original work by Kimama Aozora, has announced extensive news. Details about the cast, main staff, a teaser video, and teaser images have been revealed.

"Kinoko Inu," a heartwarming comedy set to air this fall, tells the story of the mysterious dog-like creature Kinoko Inu and the illustrator Hotaru Yuuyami. Daiki Kobayashi plays Kinoko Inu, who suddenly appears in Hotaru's garden, while Yuto Uemura portrays Hotaru, who can no longer work on his new project due to an incident.

The series is directed by Kyougoku Yoshiaki, known for "Laid-Back Camp," while Jin Tanaka, known for the "Pretty Cure" series, is in charge of series composition. Character design is handled by Daisuke Endou, and the music is composed by Akiyuki Tateyama. The animation is produced by Studio C-Station, which was also involved in "Laid-Back Camp."

Two teaser illustrations have been released: "The Encounter in the Snowy Garden" and "Where Did You Come From?" These illustrations depict the beginning of Kinoko Inu and Hotaru's story. The teaser video offers a glimpse into their meeting and the happy days that follow.
