New TV anime series "Ranma 1/2": sequel with familiar voices, start date and first trailer

The new TV anime series "Ranma 1/2," based on the work of Rumiko Takahashi, was announced during a live broadcast on the official X-channel (@ranma_pr). It was confirmed that voice actors Kappei Yamaguchi, Megumi Hayashibara, and Noriko Hidaka will reprise their roles as Ranma Saotome, female Ranma, and Akane Tendo, respectively. Additionally, information about the broadcast, production team, and a new key visual were revealed.

The series is produced by MAPPA. Koji Uchida, known for "ONE PIECE" and "DAYS," serves as director, while Kimiko Ueno, known for "Delicious in Dungeon" and "Uchi Tama? Have you seen my Tama?," is in charge of the series composition. Hiromi Taniguchi, known for "Jellyfish Restaurant" and "Punch Line," handles the character design.

The series will begin airing on October 5 on Nippon TV and will be broadcast every Saturday. After the broadcast, the series will be available exclusively on Netflix.
