New version of an anime series and accompanying toy novelties

A revised version of the first season of the anime production Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion is being released. The original director of the series, Takahiro Ikezoe, was involved in selecting the scenes for this new edition. The series, also known under the titles Transformable Shinkansen Robot Shinkalion and Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion THE ANIMATION, is about children who pilot robots to fight against threats.

Accompanying this new release, the toy manufacturer Takara Tomy is bringing new models to market. The core play concept is that the toys can transform from high-speed trains into robots. A special feature of the current product line is the ability to combine various units with each other to create individual robot forms.

These new items will be available in specialty stores and online shops. A preview video for the series is already viewable.
