To continue the second season of the anime adaptation The Apothecary Diaries (Japanese: Kusuriya no Hitorigoto), a striking key visual and a new promotional video have been released. The plot of the series, which revolves around the sharp-witted apothecary Maomao, takes a more intense turn with the second part of the season.

The released image shows Maomao in the midst of a snowstorm, her hands bound with a rope as she gazes resolutely into the distance.
