A new teaser visual has been released for the anime continuation "Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama: U-17 World Cup Kesshou Member Ketteisen" (translated roughly as "New Prince of Tennis – U-17 World Cup: Final Member Selection Battle"). As previously announced in fall 2025, the series will premiere in fall 2026.

The story continues directly from the semifinal against Germany and now depicts the internal selection battle within the Japanese national team. The goal is to determine the players who will compete in the grand final against Spain. The second teaser visual highlights four characters facing off in exciting doubles matches: Kuranosuke Shiraishi and Kintarou Tooyama from Shitenhouji Middle School, as well as Shuji Tanegashima and Ryuji Omagari.

The new anime is based on the manga continuation of the same name by Takeshi Konomi. While the original series ran from 1999 to 2008, the spin-off "Shin Tennis no Ouji-sama" has been serialized in "Jump Square" magazine since 2009.
