New visual for the anime adaptation of Summer Pockets revealed

For the upcoming third episode "Pirateship and the Girl" (jap. "Kaizokusen to Shōjo") of the TV series Summer Pockets, an atmospheric key visual has been released. It shows the protagonists Ō and Hairi in summery lightness: While Ō casually sits on a suitcase, Hairi strides toward her with energetic steps. The scene, captured under a radiant blue sky, reflects the melancholic-nostalgic mood of the story.

The anime adaptation of the visual novel of the same name by Studio Key (CLANNAD, Angel Beats!) follows student Hairi Takaohara, who spends his vacation sorting through the belongings of his deceased grandmother on the fictional island of Torishiro. In the process, he forms bonds with the island's inhabitants while also uncovering hidden secrets of the place.

Alongside the new visual, selected stills from episode 3 and a third trailer have been released. The official website of the series also offers a digital booklet for download, which was originally distributed exclusively at events.
