For the anime adaptation of the love story "Uruwashii Yoi no Tsuki" (English title: The Lovely Twilight Moon), a new key visual and a second promotional video have been released. Additionally, two more voice actors for the project have been announced.
The series is based on a manga by Mika Yamamori and tells the story of high school student Yoi Takiguchi. Due to her elegant appearance and demeanor, she is called "Prince" by her classmates. Her world changes when she meets the older student Kohaku Ichimura, who also bears this nickname. The plot follows the developing relationship between these two "princes".
The newly released key visual shows an intimate scene in a sun-drenched classroom, where Kohaku gently touches Yoi's cheek. The second promotional video provides deeper insights into the characters' emotional world. It shows Yoi's confusion about the feelings for Kohaku that are arising for the first time and also gives an impression of his own emotions.
The names of two more voice actors have been announced. Kensho Ono lends his voice to Takuto Oji, a new part-time employee at the curry restaurant run by Yoi's father. He is also called "Prince" by those around him, but does not see himself that way. Kenjiro Tsuda voices the role of Yoi's father, the warm-hearted restaurant owner who is concerned about his daughter's emotional life.
The band UNISON SQUARE GARDEN is responsible for the musical framework of the series. They contribute both the opening song "Uruwashii" and the ending song "Azalea no Kaze" (The Wind of the Azaleas). The ending song is heard for the first time in the new promotional video.
The series is directed by Yusuke Maruyama, and the animation is produced by East Fish Studio.
