New voice actress for Kowloon Generic Romance confirmed

The upcoming anime adaptation of Jun Mayuzuki's manga Kowloon Generic Romance (original title: Kūron Jenerikku Romansu) has announced the casting for the character Kujirai B. The role will be played by the experienced voice actress Yuriko Yamaguchi, who is already known for numerous characters in anime and games.

Kujirai B, who is introduced as the nearly identical fiancée of the protagonist Kujirai Reiko, plays a key role in the story. Yamaguchi expressed her connection to the series in a statement: "The atmosphere of the Kowloon Walled City brought back memories of my time in Hong Kong—that immediately convinced me to be part of this project."

The series, set in the historical environment of the former Kowloon City, follows Reiko, a real estate agent who becomes entangled in a web of forgotten memories and double identities. The mix of mysterious elements and romantic undertones is said to offer a unique narrative perspective.

Additionally, a non-credit version of the ending theme has been released on YouTube, visually emphasizing the dense atmosphere of the story. Further information regarding the broadcast or additional casting details will be announced in due course.
