For the upcoming anime series "Awashima Hyakkei" (English title: "Glances of Awashima"), further details regarding the cast have been announced. The series is based on a manga by Takako Shimura.

Two new voice actresses have been cast for important roles:

- Natsumi Fujiwara will voice Emi Okabe. The character is a scholarship student at the Awashima Music Theater School who, despite her talent, suffers from bullying and becomes isolated.

- Ayumi Tsunematsu voices Keiko Ibuki. This character comes from an established Awashima family and harbors envy towards the talent of her classmate Emi.

Coinciding with the announcement, a third official character image was released, showing Emi Okabe and Keiko Ibuki. Both voice actresses commented in separate statements on their complex roles and their joy at being part of the project.

The plot of the series is set at the elite Awashima Music Theater School (Awashima Kageki School). It follows the new student Wakana and other classmates who dream of standing on stage and becoming musical stars. The release of the anime adaptation is scheduled for April 2026.
