As part of the ongoing original project "Castle Combination Oshirobots," two additional voice actors for the Wakayama Castle team have been announced. The project combines Japanese castles with robot motifs.

The newly announced voice actors take on roles closely tied to the historical and cultural significance of Wakayama Castle.

- Yuki Nakajima as Harutomi: Yuki Nakajima voices the pilot of the Wakayama Castle Oshirobot. The character Harutomi, whose name derives from Harutomi Tokugawa, is described as exceptionally artistically talented. He is responsible for designing a youth band and often appears casual and hard to read outwardly, yet is also considered a very good student.

- Katsuyuki Konishi as Yoshimune Tokugawa: The role of the historical shogun is taken by Katsuyuki Konishi. The character is based on Tokugawa Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Edo shogunate, who previously ruled as the fifth lord of the Kishū Domain. The portrayal emphasizes not only his well-known frugality but also his curiosity, his fondness for new things, and his health-conscious lifestyle with regular training and visits to hot springs.

The content's concept asks: "What if real Japanese castles could transform and combine into giant robots?" The so-called "Oshirobots" are formed from the architectural parts of existing castles—such as main keeps, watchtowers, and gates—and are piloted by children alongside the "Shirodama," the souls of the castles in the form of historical military leaders.

Since the project's launch in 2022, numerous castle robots have been introduced. The official website lists iconic castles such as Himeji Castle, Kumamoto Castle, and Nagoya Castle as part of the growing Oshirobot lineup. Further additions are planned for 2025.
