"NINJA KAMUI" directed by Sunghoo Park opens on July 1st

The anime "NINJA KAMUI", directed by Sunghoo Park, known for "Jujutsu Kaisen," will premiere on July 1.

Overview of "NINJA KAMUI"

"NINJA KAMUI" is set in the near future and is a ninja action series following the rogue ninja Higan, who becomes a vengeful spirit after the murder of his beloved family. The plot revolves around his battle against the dark forces within the "Shinobi" organization and the state, which were created to maintain peace in Hinomoto. The character designs are by Takashi Okazaki, known for "Ninja Batman," with Sayaka Koiso as the character designer and Shigeru Murakoshi of "Zombie Land Saga" as the series composer. The animation is produced by E&H Production.

The series premiered in North America in February and was praised for its high quality, becoming a major success on Cartoon Network. In May 2024, a prequel to the anime titled "NINJA KAMUI: Shinobi Zero" was released for Nintendo Switch.
