Niwatori Fighter: Action manga is being adapted into an anime

The battle-action manga "Niwatori Fighter" by Shuu Sakuradani is being adapted into an anime. A first teaser has already been released.

"Niwatori Fighter" has been serialized on the manga website Comiplex since December 2020 and tells the story of a rooster fighting against monstrous creatures called "Kiju" that threaten humanity. The series quickly gained popularity, especially among readers in North and South America, leading to translations and releases in over 50 countries.

The anime adaptation is being produced in collaboration between VIZ Media, known for the global distribution of Japanese manga and anime content, and Heroes. Internationally, the anime will be broadcast in partnership with Adult Swim. Details regarding the broadcast and streaming in Japan will be announced at a later date.

The director is Daisuke Suzuki, known for his work on the series "D4DJ", while Hiroshi Seko, who contributed to "Jujutsu Kaisen", is responsible for the series composition. The animation is produced by Sanzigen.
