Norihiko Nagahama directs the anime at Studio A-Cat. Touko Machida is in charge of series composition. Masami Sueoka designs the characters. Ryōta Katsuta and Maki Yamamoto are the color key artists. Daisuke Negishi is the art director, while Katsuhisa Takiguchi handles art setting. Keisuke Takahashi is the cinematographer. Yuichi Goto is the 3D director. Hiroto Morishita is the sound director, while Takurō Iga composes the music.
Shobonnu began writing the series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2016. In March 2017, the novel began publication under the Monster Bunko label with illustrations by Sogawa. The fifth and final volume was released in November 2018.
