The episode begins with Pas busy whipping the egg whites for a new dessert. Nicolo notices that Pas hasn't built any muscles despite the repetitive motion. Pas explains that his candy diet doesn’t provide enough protein for muscle growth and emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet.

The scene shifts to Lutoroute’s war camp, where it turns out that a war has broken out between the countries of Hubarek and Lutoroute. At home, Pas and Licorice discuss the pointlessness of war and dream of a world where people can enjoy sweets instead of fighting. Their conversation is interrupted by the news that the goats Pas wanted to buy for making cheesecake were sold to Baron Lunzvage due to the war’s impact on supplies. Pas is frustrated, but his father advises him to wait until the conflict is resolved.

However, Pas comes up with a plan to join the war as reinforcements, which would give him priority in selecting supplies. His goal is to reclaim the goats sold to Baron Lunzvage. Pas and his father quickly assemble a small troop, including Nicolo and eight foot soldiers, and set off to join the war.

Upon their arrival in the Margraviate of Hubarek, they are greeted by Margrave Hubarek and briefed on the current situation. Pas and his father notice something strange about the enemy’s defensive formation and realize it’s an ambush. They learn that Lord Squale, who is inexperienced in battle, has been sent to the likely location of the ambush.

Pas and his father rush to Lord Squale’s aid, who indeed falls into an ambush by the Lutoroute army. Though outnumbered and surrounded, Lord Squale’s unit holds their ground until Pas and his reinforcements arrive, turning the tide of the battle.
