In Episode 6 of "Okashi na Tensei," Pastry and Lady Licorice find themselves in a precarious situation. The episode begins with Lord Pastry accompanying Lady Licorice to a canonization ceremony that is to take place in the royal capital. They are teleported there by Pastry's father, who employs his teleportation magic.

Their peaceful journey is interrupted, however, when they are kidnapped and taken to a dilapidated manor. The kidnappers turn out to be mercenaries hired by a disgraced noble from the former Armire duchy, who plans to use the abduction to regain his noble status.

Back at Lord Pastry's residence, his father and the household staff notice something amiss when they find a hole in the ground and Lord Pastry's ribbon, which he used to send a message about his location. They deduce that the kidnappers are from the former Armire duchy and launch a rescue operation.

Back at the kidnappers' hideout, Pastry and Licorice are threatened by their captors. However, Pastry demonstrates his courage and quick thinking, managing to disarm one of the kidnappers and take control of the situation. The episode ends on a cliffhanger: Pastry and Licorice hold their own against the kidnappers while awaiting the arrival of the rescue team.
