Strudel's escape attempt is thwarted, and he is cornered by Pas and his friend. Strudel challenges Pas to a duel, but Pas outsmarts him with a replica sword and defeats Strudel.

The episode then shifts to one month later, where an official engagement celebration for Lord Squale and Lady Petra takes place at the royal castle. During the event, Pas has a private conversation with Duke Kadlecek, revealing some suspicious aspects of the recent kidnapping. He suspects the involvement of a third party and subtly threatens to expose the Duke's role in the incident, leading to an agreement for financial support for Pas' domain.

The celebration takes an unexpected turn when Prince Hubarek proposes that Pas marry his other daughter, Licorice. Despite his initial hesitation, Pas agrees, and the engagement is announced. The episode ends with a sweet moment between Pas and Licorice as she offers him cookies she baked herself.
