"Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurai" announces new speakers and a new promo video

The upcoming anime adaptation of "Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurai," based on the original work by Sora Egumi, has unveiled new cast members alongside the release of the second promotional video.

Among the newly announced actors is Higa Tetsu, the older brother of Kana, portrayed by Yamato Kinjo. Tetsu is described as a quiet yet unexpectedly caring young man. Additional new characters include Higa Suzu, Kana's younger sister, played by Miyuri Shimabukuro; Higa Naoya, Kana's cousin, played by Risa Tsumugi; and Higa Sachiko, Kana's grandmother, played by Yuko Gibu. All voice actors hail from Okinawa, enhancing the authenticity of the Okinawan dialect and culture in the portrayal. Their voices can be heard for the first time in the recently released promotional video.

"Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurai" is a romantic comedy about Teruaki, a student who moves to Okinawa and promptly falls for his classmate Hinatsu. However, the heavy use of the Okinawan dialect by both leads to communication issues, making their budding relationship both amusing and challenging.
