One Piece Episode 1072

The episode begins with Kaido being surprised to see Luffy alive and noticing the rubber-like transformation of the surroundings. This leads him to assume that Luffy's powers might have reached an elevated state. However, the nature of Luffy's transformation makes Kaido suspicious. To test Luffy, Kaido attempts to swallow him, but Luffy counters by attacking him from the inside. By inflating himself, Luffy makes Kaido bounce uncontrollably up and down. After carving his way out, Luffy disappears into the clouds, only to return larger and use Kaido as a makeshift jump rope. Their duel continues, with Luffy being repelled by Kaido's fiery breath but quickly recovering.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, Law laments the worsening situation with fires and collapsing buildings, as they face further attacks from Kaido's subordinates. An attempt to comfort Tama is interrupted when a blow sends Luffy's head to the ground, which then bounces back to his body.

When Kaido returns to the initial confrontation, he wonders if Luffy's energy might be waning. Luffy, initially dismissive, soon feels the toll of his new ability. Amid their exhaustion, Kaido acknowledges the courage of Luffy and his allies. Yet Luffy, spurred by memories of his friends and comrades, rallies once more. In their fierce battle, Luffy dodges Kaido's attacks with unpredictable movements and finally lands a powerful blow. Kaido, lying stunned on the ground, asks Luffy who he is, to which Luffy confidently declares himself as the future King of the Pirates.
