The episode begins in the Flower Capital, where Nami, Chopper, Tama, and Lysop spend time at a shooting range. Lysop demonstrates his marksmanship by hitting the targets precisely, while Nami's attempts miss the mark. The mood is cheerful and lively. In another part of the city, Toko and Brook create a vibrant atmosphere with their music. The scene shifts to Nami, Chopper, and Tama, who later enjoy the variety of local delicacies at the food stalls.

Meanwhile, outside the capital, a fierce battle unfolds. A group of samurai fights against Admiral Ryokugyu. His abilities manifest in the form of relentless vines and roots. Yamato expresses the desire to help Momonosuke, who is entangled in the roots, but the Shogun's prohibition prevents any intervention. Raizo unleashes a massive flame from a scroll aimed at the admiral, but Ryokugyu's cry of pain turns out to be a ruse, revealing that such attacks cannot harm him. He retaliates by impaling Raizo with a root that drains his life force. One by one, the other samurai and Shinobu meet the same fate, and Yamato is also captured, leading to a dialogue with Momonosuke about the limits of battle.

Back in the capital, at the palace, Robin is shown a secret passage by Hitetsu and Sukiyaki. Along with Law, who is worried about Robin, they descend into the underground. Sukiyaki reveals that neither Orochi nor Kaido knew about this hidden path, and as they peer through an underwater window, they see an ancient Wano country. Sukiyaki recounts how this old capital was flooded 800 years ago, prompting the population to relocate to higher ground and giving rise to the present-day Wano country. On the seabed, they encounter the Road Poneglyphs.

As the conflict outside the city continues, Ryokugyu dismisses Momonosuke's efforts to use his dragon's fire breath as futile. However, spurred by Luffy's voice, Momonosuke succeeds in releasing a powerful flame that burns the admiral's roots. Unfazed, Ryokugyu regenerates into a sprout and prepares for a new attack. At this moment, Shanks aboard his ship uses his Haki to interrupt the admiral and reprimand his dishonorable behavior. Shanks' intervention forces Ryokugyu to reconsider the confrontation and retreat, allowing Yamato to praise Momonosuke for his defense.
