Episode 1117 focuses on Sabo's return to the Kamabakka Kingdom and his revelation of the events in the Holy Land Mary Geoise during the Reverie. Upon his arrival, Sabo meets with the leaders of the Revolutionary Army, including Monkey D. Dragon, Emporio Ivankov, and his comrades. He begins to recount the true events in Mary Geoise to clarify the misinformation surrounding the assassination of King Cobra.

Sabo explains that the Revolutionary Army pursued three main objectives during their mission: declaring war by destroying the symbol of the Celestial Dragons, freeing as many slaves as possible—including rescuing Bartholomew Kuma—and destroying the food supplies in the Land of the Gods. Their actions plunged Mary Geoise into chaos and drew the attention of Marine Admirals Fujitora and Ryokugyu.

While the Revolutionary captains—Sabo, Karasu, Morley, and Lindbergh—carry out their plan, they engage in battles with the Admirals and the World Government forces. Karasu uses his Soot-Soot Fruit abilities to combat the enemy, while Morley utilizes the Push-Push Fruit to aid escaping slaves. Lindbergh employs his technological gadgets to support the rescue efforts. Amid the chaos, Sabo notices that Kuma is being used by the Celestial Dragons to kidnap Princess Shirahoshi from the Ryugu Kingdom.

Determined to save Kuma, Sabo coordinates with Morley to intervene. At the same time, King Cobra of Alabasta requests an audience with the Five Elders to discuss an important matter, despite his poor health. He instructs his guards, Chaka and Pell, to watch over his daughter Vivi, who grows increasingly concerned about her father's well-being and the unfolding events.

The episode culminates with the Revolutionary Army intensifying their efforts against the World Government, while Sabo prepares to reveal further details about the incident in Mary Geoise.
