"One Piece": Yūichi Nakamura Voices Loki – New Music for the Elbaf Arc

New details for the TV anime series "One Piece" were announced at this year's "AnimeJapan" in Tokyo. As announced during the panel on March 28th at Tokyo Big Sight, the voice actor for the character Loki in the Elbaf Arc has been confirmed: Yūichi Nakamura will take on the role. In a specially shown trailer, his voice was heard for the first time; furthermore, the voice actor was surprisingly connected live to speak with the voice actors present on stage: Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro), and Subaru Kimura (Franky).

Simultaneously, the musical framework for the new story arc was presented. The Elbaf Arc begins on April 5th on Japanese television and will receive a new opening titled "Luminous," sung by Aina The End. The singer surprisingly presented the song during a live performance at the Nippon-Maru Memorial Park in Yokohama, which was connected via live feed to the "AnimeJapan" stage. The rock band Jisoku 36km will provide the ending theme "Sono Mirai."

Another agenda item was the introduction of the spin-off "One Piece Heroines." For the production scheduled for July, two more voice actors were announced: Maaya Sakamoto voices the shoemaker Miucha, while Takehito Koyasu will be heard as the shoe designer Rubno.
