Original TV anime "Pon no Michi" starts in January 2024

In the ever-growing world of anime, a new series is set to make its debut. "Pon no Michi," an original TV anime, is expected to air in January 2024. The official website for the series offers a glimpse of the main cast, production team, a teaser image, and a promotional video.



"Pon no Michi" promises a colorful cast of characters. The main protagonist, Nashiko Jippensha, is voiced by Kaori Maeda, while Iori Saeki is brought to life by Pai Kawahigashi. Other key figures include Izumi Tokutomi, portrayed by Shion Wakayama, and Riche Hayashi, voiced by Yui Kondou.

Behind the scenes, IIS-P is responsible for the original story, with Tatsuma Minamikawa leading the project as director and scriptwriter. Fans can look forward to a visual style inspired by Negi Haruba's original character designs, further adapted by Kenji Oota. The audiovisual experience is enhanced by the collaborative efforts of Emi Kadono for color design, Scott MacDonald as art director, and Miyabi Amada in charge of photography. Yoshiaki Kimura handles editing, while Tsuyoshi Takahashi oversees sound direction. A lineup of musicians, including Yuuko Takahashi, Takuma Sogi, hisakuni, Riko Oohashi, Kanji Eguchi, and Shari, work on the music production for SUPA LOVE.

"Pon no Michi" tells the story of Jippensha Nashiko, a high school girl from Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. After being kicked out of her home, Nashiko faces the dilemma of having no place to hang out with her friends. Her predicament leads her to discover that her father's former living room is now empty. In a stroke of genius, Nashiko decides to transform this space into a shared hangout spot.
