Oshi No Ko - Episode 22

In Episode 22, Kana prepares for a trip to Miyazaki for filming and asks Aqua for help buying a rolling suitcase. They arrange to meet at Shinjuku Station, where Kana nervously ponders how to impress him. Although she is late, Aqua waits patiently, and they go shopping together. After purchasing the suitcase, Aqua surprises Kana by inviting her to a pre-reserved dinner, showing a level of consideration that impresses her and gives her hope for their relationship.

During the meal, Aqua mentions his intention to have a serious talk with Akane about their relationship, which dampens Kana's mood. After dinner, Aqua accompanies Kana home, leaving her uncertain about her feelings and the nature of their relationship.

Later, Aqua meets with Akane to discuss their future. He tells her that his search for his father—the man responsible for his mother's death—is over. Aqua has discovered that his father committed suicide years ago, giving him a sense of closure. Having achieved his goal, he no longer wants to bind Akane to him through his past motives.

However, Akane senses inconsistencies in Aqua's conclusion about his father. She realizes that his father might still be alive but is unsure whether to tell Aqua, fearing it might reignite his desire for revenge.

Near the end, Aqua visits his mother's grave, feeling freed from his past and ready to live his own life. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure observes Ruby from a distance, noting her beauty and calling her "our child," suggesting that Aqua's father may still be alive...
