Episode 23 begins with a flashback between Sarina and Gorou. In the present, Ruby, Kana, and MEM-cho listen to a new song composed by Himura for their idol group B-Komachi. MEM-cho discusses the song with her friend Anemone, who suggests filming a music video in Takachiho, Miyazaki—the birthplace of Aqua and Ruby. Despite the tight schedule, they agree to shoot two music videos.

At the airport, Kana is not thrilled that Akane is joining them, but Ruby warmly welcomes Akane and hopes that she and Aqua will marry someday. Upon arriving in Takachiho, Anemone explains the town’s mythological significance and mentions the deity of performing arts, Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto. While Kana wants to visit the deity’s shrine, Anemone insists they focus on filming.

Anemone leads the group to the filming location, leaving Akane and Aqua behind. Akane suggests visiting the Ama-no-Iwato shrine, but Aqua proposes going to the hospital where he and Ruby were born instead. At the hospital, Aqua searches for information about Gorou Amamiya—his former self before reincarnation—but learns nothing new. Later, they visit Gorou’s former home, where Aqua reflects on his past life, his ambitions as a surgeon, and the unresolved questions surrounding his death.

Meanwhile, Anemone films Ruby, Kana, and MEM-cho during their leisure activities. On the music video set, Kana asks Aqua for his opinion on her outfit but is disappointed by his lukewarm response. Akane gives Kana fashion advice, and Anemone takes photos of the group. Aqua, observing from a distance, believes Kana is destined for great success. Akane advises him to distance himself from Kana to avoid potential scandals that could harm her idol career.

After filming, Ruby and Akane grow closer during a walk. A crow steals Ruby’s room key, and the two chase after it. Ruby invites Akane to join B-Komachi, but Akane declines, believing idol life isn’t for her. Ruby shares her desire to continue as an actress after achieving her idol goals and her hope to reunite with someone—unaware that Aqua is the reincarnated Gorou.

While following the crow, they discover a hidden cave containing the skeletal remains of a doctor in a white coat. Ruby realizes it’s Gorou Amamiya and is confronted with the harsh reality of her beloved sensei’s fate from her past life as Sarina. The episode ends with the star in Ruby’s eye fading away.
