At the beginning of the episode, our protagonists—Goshiki, Kuga, and the children Machi and Fumio—are frustrated by the rainy weather. Machi, in particular, laments the cancellation of their planned trip to the zoo, and Goshiki sympathetically suggests doing a fun indoor activity together instead.

Machi shows a hint of childhood nostalgia and pulls out the "Machi Red" cards, fortune-telling cards that Kuga had made for her during her kindergarten days. In a moment of clumsy enthusiasm, Goshiki accidentally damages one of the cards, presenting the group with an unexpected task—to create a new card game.

Kuga, showcasing his artistic skills, begins redesigning the cards, while Goshiki is tasked with handling the card borders. Meanwhile, Goshiki ventures out into the rain to buy a book on Tarot designs, believing it to be an important resource for the project. Worried that Goshiki might get soaked, Kuga follows her, leading to a subtle and heartfelt moment between the two as they share the task of carrying the books.

Back at home, with the new cards ready, the group takes turns fortune-telling, transforming their living room into a makeshift planetarium. Their day indoors culminates in a warm and comradely moment as they all sit together under the glow of the planetarium, symbolizing their intertwined fates.

As the episode nears its end, there’s a twist. Kuga unexpectedly confesses his feelings for Goshiki, who gladly accepts his proposal, marking a significant turning point in their relationship.
